Brian brings 28+ years as a mortgage professional to Bay Capital Mortgage. He started his mortgage career in 1996 with JP Morgan Chase and joined Bay Capital Mortgage in 2011. Brian understands that a mortgage is the largest financial obligation for most families. By treating the mortgage as an asset instead of the largest liability is inherent to how he approaches meeting the overall financial goals of his clients. From the purchase of your home and beyond, his expertise is identifying solutions that are tailored to the specific needs of each client. Brian is the local Veteran’s Administration loan specialist and takes great pride helping those that serve this great nation. He is also skilled and trained in FHA, Conventional, USDA, Jumbo, Non QM, and HECM (Reverse) mortgage financing. Brian has recently spent over 40 hours of education mastering the Reverse Mortgage for refinance and HECM for purchase.

Brian earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the University of Baltimore. He lives in Severna Park with his wife Melissa and three children. He is an avid tennis player and former teaching pro. The Masterson family is active in their parish, Saint John’s Roman Catholic Church, Chartwell Country Club, and Severna Park Green Hornets.
